Warhammer Online when beta ends?

It seems to me that it’s taking them too long to make this game available for everyone. It’s been months since the beta has started. I’ve tried to find this info everywhere but was unable to find a single word about it. Does anyone here know when will this beta stage end?
As far as I’ve heard it won’t be soon. They will be making an opened beta but that doesn’t mean everyone will be able to test it. It’s going to be like some kind of lottery – they will randomly pick about a thousand people out of those who are subscribed to the newsletter. I’ve heard this from a friend so it’s not necessarily true.
