Hey. I thought we should have topic for movies we recently saw in theaters, at home, etc.

Last night I was watching "Taken" with Liam Neeson in theater, and I found it absolutely great action/revenge movie, I haven't seen in years.
The plot is quite simple: "Daughter of the retired CIA agent has been kidnapped by Albanian gang involved in sex trafficking while she was on vacation in Paris. Dad has many skills and he will do anything to save her."

For me, it's better than Bond and Bourne. Smile
Definitely a must see.

Yes of course. Danny Boyle is one of my favorite directors since "Trainspotting".

Pathology (2008)

Nice plot, but bad execution and acting. Also, main villain sucked big time.

4/10

Last night the gf and I watched Save the Last Dance.

Pretty good, a little mushy but has a moral to give, and the chick is pretty seductive in the ending.

6/10

Hellboy II: Golden Army

Great visuals and fantasy, but story and humor were totally dull.

I saw Star Trek about a week or so ago. Was never into the show at all, but I thought the movie was really good. Doesn't make me want to watch the show, but I do think the movie was really good and extremely well done. Hopefully they make a sequal.

Just watched The Hangover.

It was hilarious. Everyone in the theater never seemed to stop laughing, it even got applause at the end. Nothing I'd reccomend for the little ones, but hilarious and something you could watch over a few times, good for parties when it comes to video.
