Noah Wyle Teams with Steven Spielberg for TNT Pilot

Noah Wyle and Steven Spielberg could be teaming up for a new untitled alien-invasion pilot for TNT according to Michael Ausiello.

As a fan of Noah Wyle and The Librarian movies from TNT, I have to say that I am pretty excited about this potential new series. And then on top of that you add Steven Spielberg, can this show even fail?

The show would take place "six months after evil extra terrestrials decimate mankind. Wyle would play the leader of a ragtag group of citizens who try to bring down the aggressors."

One thing's for sure, I cannot wait to see this and I'm crossing my fingers they actually make it.

What do you guys think about it?

They started filming scenes from the "untitled alien invasion project" at the corner of Barton St. and Barnsdale St. in Hamilton, Ontario on August 18th, 2009. They have the street all blocked off by Hamilton police and decorated to look wartorn and desolate and they are filming between the hours of 9pm and 6am. They've renamed the streets to Center St. and Bouroughs St. from Boston, MA. I watched the first night for an hour from 10pm to 11:30pm and saw 2 rehersals and 2 takes of Noah running to the corner of a building and crouching down to take cover and I watched 2 rehersals and 3 takes of a guy getting riddled with bullets in front of the same building. The third take was done with exploding squibs set up on the guy's chest. Boring, but interesting at the same time. I'd say they made 20 seconds of footage in that span of time. August 21st will be the last night they will be there
