"According to reports we have seen on the internet if you work in an office and people share your computer, your computer keyboard could cause life threatening illnesses.
Which? Magazine, a UK consumer activist organization, tested keyboards in its own offices in London and out of the 33 keyboards it swabbed, one had 5 times the number of bacteria it found on one of its toilet seats. The keyboard was apparently so bad that health and safety officers quarantined it.
Experts claim that colds and even gastroenteritis could be passed on in an office through the keyboard.
Eating food, going to the toilet without washing your hands and sneezing could be to blame.
E.coli, coliforms, staphylococcus aureus and enterobacteria were all found in the tests.
Could Qwerty tummy be the number one sickie excuse in the coming months...?"

And I'll be the only one using my computer keyboard, luckily it's a laptop =D |
Hopefully not on your lap
I got a laptop myself but sometimes we have to work at the computers at school. Don't think they wash their hands before they use it etc... It doesn't look good with the upcomming swine flu. Schools will be closed and other public places.

Why do people freak out about Swine? First off, over 20000 people die each year due to the normal flu, and no one goes crazy about that. But when something new is introduced, and only an amount of deaths countable on one hand occurred due to this new phenomenon, people get frantic. Chill out guys, they actually are planning to come out with a vaccine in the fall i believe. I heard it on the radio.

Exactly, normal flu is still more dangerous, but new flu has bigger spread rate, which means if it mutates, the mortality rate could be disastrous.
But, I still think it's just marketing. Big pharmaceuticals companies have to stay in shape during the economic crysis.
Spread the word about dangerous virus and sell the expensive cure - real recipe for success.
