I hate computers.

They just seem to stop working every now and again, I mean, my computer was running tops for months. Then out of nowhere it just started turning itself off every time i connected to the net."What the Hell?" i ask myself, so i make a noobie attempt to remedy the problem by reinstalling the modem. now my computer usage just shoots up to 72% every time i connect so it now runs like my old p166 i used to own

open your comp up and check for dust. You could have a heating problem.

Comp shutting down, as i have experienced, is a result of dust cluttering up your fan.

Perhaps you should like, get someone to look at it.
