Dear Realpoor members,
With new site layout, we’re introducing new Rank system that includes more functional titles and roles for forum members.
New Rank system will be used along with default ranks that users get according to their activity and post count.
The biggest change is addressed to Supporter rank which no longer exists. Instead, we now have two ranks that much better describe the role of most devoted members.
Here’s what has been changed.
User Ranks:
All members will have this set of default ranks based on their activity and post count

I think the Rank system has to be totally reconsidered, otherwise it'll collapse automatically with time.
Post count can't be the sole measure for ranks. Posts are limitless . Any scammer or spammer can post day and night to have 1000 posts a week.
Many other measures've to be taken into consideration, such as the member-history: did he receive any suspension, warning,..
the membership time also must be considered. How can I consider A member with 2 years or more membership with 100 posts to be neglected relative to a new spammer with 1 week membership and 1000 posts ?
All measures considered for special ranks must be taken for Determining Normal Ranks, too.
BTW, I hoped that the "edit' feature enabled for the New RealPoor. Also, I need to watch the first 2 lines of a thread when I point at it.
Also the credit system is not operational. For the rules indicated for calculating credits, nobody'll get the correct credit value. If this value were to be updated correctly, it has to be taken as another good measure for considering Ranks.
Think that's more important than decoration.

If someone is here long enough to spam 1000 posts, something went wrong...
Secondly, people that have been here that long (2 years +) and have a very low post count must not be that active, so they wouldn't really care about this.

Also how long they have been here means nothing anymore. We just had to ban someone who joined back in 2007 for scamming.
