As a smoker this is something I have just started looking into. There are tons of sources for information, seems most of the products are made in china, although there seems to be some US companies now starting to produce these.

I've been reading mostly here to try and make some sense out of it all.
They have a wiki started, but it is relatively new.

Great idea though, as long as it helps, better then having a long term habit IMO
It's basically a vaporizer with a flavored nicotine liquid. So technically you still are smoking, but you avoid the hazards associated with tobacco additives, and inhaling burning paper. People have been vaporizing pot for some time to get a cleaner high with a higher thc content.
This doesn't really guarantee that some vial of liquid manufactured in China is really all that safe to be inhaling though. That is kind of my only hang up right now with trying this out. Still looking into how much safer it actually is. From what I have been reading it isn't all that great for quitting, more for replacing cigarettes with a cleaner alternative.
