Asherons Call system specs

I haven't played AC yet, but I'm thinking of giving it a shot, I'm sort of disappointed by the MMOs that are coming out these days, and a friend of mine has been praising Asheron's Call for years now. The thing is, when I look at the system specs, it says the game will work on ANY Pentium processor, and requires only DirectX! That can't be right right? Does it look like crap, then?

Yes, that *is* right, and no, it does *not* look like crap. Those are the minimum system requirements, and they've been in place since the game came out back in 1999. Of course it will look better if you have a better machine (I assume everyone does, these days), but it's basic appearance is OK, if not flashy.

asherons call is and will be the best mmo ever made, and yes iv played wow to lvl 80 and asherons call is way more fun, every mmo is spoon fed now and days, the graphics in ac are perfect and the game is great, try it out on the trial

The gameplay is pretty repetitive, but it's free.
