Hearts go out to anyone who suffered from the catatrosphic event on 9/11/01. 2 years tomorrow... christ.. seems like yesterday...
I'll never forget it... in 2nd period and people walking down the hall talking about a plane crashing into the world trade center.... 3rd period we watched CNN the entire time...

I was sitting in middle school (8th Grade) and heard some kids walking down the hall talking about a plane hitting the towers. Then later on hearing about a bomb at the Pentagon. Me being me I thought it was two small private planes and a pipe bomb.
My school was gay and did not let us watch any T.V. I first noted it was serious when I was picked up by my mom, sister and dad. My dad was not in uniform so I immediatly asked what's wrong. Then found out.

I slept in because I had an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon... I remember driving to the hospital at 10 something and noticing how weird it was not to see a single plane in the sky ( when at any given hour I can usually see 5-10 minimum )
I was in chemistry class.

I'm more interested in the millions that have died thanks to vehicles.
I was taking a shit when I heard that an airplane crashed into the World Trade Center. Then I resumed taking a shit.

Were they Japanese cars? We could flatten Japan. It's not like we haven't done it before, and they just commit honorable suicide when they lose, instead of truck bombs and shit.

but, an airplane is a vehicle 8)
I was driving to school and listening to a local morning radio show (Drew & Mike, kinda gross-out hosts) when I heard the news. Drew is a pilot and he was saying 'Oh my god, that wasn't a little private plane. That's a commercial jet!' and I couldn't wait to get to school so I could find a TV or take a look on the internet for myself.
After class (maybe an hour later?) I heard the first tower had completely collapsed.

I woke up and was ready to go to work. I saw shit crashin and said, "Wow! What a reason to stay home!" Didn't even call in. Awesome!
